The City of Vernon, Florida City Council held a Special Meeting on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 5:30PM, as seen in the video (below).

At the meeting the Council decided to contract with Waste Management for the provision of solid waste removal. Following discussion, it was also decided to terminate the employment of the Deputy City Clerk for cause.
