Vernon, Florida Historical Society Celebrates Dedication of Vernon High School as Florida Historic Site on Saturday, May 5, 2021

The Vernon, Florida Historical Society, along with the City of Vernon, dedicated the former Vernon High School, currently used as Vernon City Hall, as a Florida Historic Site on Saturday, May 5, 2021.

Accompanied by former teachers, administrators and students of Vernon High School, City officials, citizens of Washington County and Washington County Superintendent Joe Taylor, Historical Society member Lynda Waller conducted the ceremony, as seen in these photos by Paul Goulding Photography.
