City Council of Vernon, Florida Meets on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, Swears New Council Members, Donates to Local Family

The Vernon, Florida City Council met in a regular Monthly Meeting Session on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, taking advantage of the opportunity to swear in newly-elected Council members.

Taking their respective Council seats on Tuesday were returning Mayor Candice Hodges as well as council members Gwen March, Joey Brock and Becky Baxley, along with new Council member Chad Jackson.

At the end of the meeting the sitting Council members all pledged to donate their Council stipend for this month to the family of the 15-year-old Vernon resident who lost his life in a swimming accident over the weekend.
