The Vernon Historical Society and the City of Vernon cordially invite you to attend the Dedication of the Florida State Historical Maker for The Shady Grove Elementary School for African American Children at Shady Grove Ballpark, Highway 79, in Vernon, Florida on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 10:30AM.

The Vernon Historical Society Museum is located in Vernon City Hall and will be open to the public from 11:30AM until 1PM.
