On Wednesday, March 18, 2020, Vernon, Florida City Clerk Tracy Walker advised that effective on that date, Vernon City Hall offices would be closed to the public until further notice.
The Vernon City office staff has been available by phone and payments could be made online or in the City drop-box.
Today, Walker announced that effective Monday, July 6, 2020, Vernon City Hall would be open for business.

Vernon City Council Workshops are held on the first Monday of each month and Council Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month, and all meetings are held at 5:30PM in Room 6 at Vernon City Hall.
