The City of Vernon, Florida Installed a new Mayor and a new City Council member on Thursday, March 19, 2020 in the City Council Chambers to the applause of family and friends.

Candice Hodges was elected to the position of Mayor with no opposition earlier this month, and former Mayor Laura Olene Brewer was elected as City Council member after stepping down from that office.

Laura Brewer is sworn in as Vernon Council member.
